Can I audit classes before I join?
- Yes, you can, but you must call first and we will give you options. Some of our classes may contain private or sensitive material and are not open for public watching.
How do you keep dogs safe and healthy in your facility?
- Not only do we clean the facility daily, but every week the mats and floors are scrubbed. We have a service deep clean monthly. We've developed safe spaces within our training hall not only for dogs to enter and exit safely with their owners, but also having personal spaces to practice in, as well as each dog has a crate available as needed.
How do you keep children safe in your facility?
- We have a multi-pronged approach to make sure children are safe in our training hall so they can experience the joy of training. First, families are required to watch the Canine Communication seminar before children can participate in any class or be in the ring. Second, children must either stay with their parent in the ring or in the gallery watching, and children must be well behaved, respectful, and polite. Children who are excessively loud, running, approaching other dogs without permission, or who are not being properly monitored by a parent or guardian will be dismissed from the center with their family.

I want to take one of the advanced classes because my dog already has some training, how do I do that?
- If you already have your CGC you are welcome to join a more advanced level of class, however, you will be responsible for viewing the previous levels homework to make sure you understand the exercises. One of our trainers will evaluate you in a free consultation to see which level is appropriate.
Speaking of homework, will I have any?
- Absolutely. Training never ends, no matter how old your dog is. But with MPA, we teach you to train anytime you are with your dog. With your class you will be given free access to your level's homework online, along with all the levels below it for review.
Can I do the classes just online?
- While online classes are something we are anticipating having by the end of 2026, at this time all of our classes are currently in person only. We are looking at adding livestream classes soon.
My dog already did training elsewhere, and I'd like to join one of your advanced sport or activity classes. Can I do that?
- We welcome you to MPA! If you have a CGC, CGCA, or CGCU, you are welcome to join our advanced classes. If you do not but wish to test, please let us know, we'd be happy to facilitate that. If you have a graduate certificate, or give us the name of your training facility, we can verify the training. As a final result, we can do a free consultation to evaluate your dog for our advanced classes.
