Fit Dogs

We have a pandemic of overweight sick dogs in the country, who struggle with autoimmune diseases like diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. There's two main factors to this, nutrition and exercise. The proper exercise is so important to your canine companion, making sure it's safe, breed appropriate, and taught in a way that the dog gains confidence and skill, and has fun doing it. After doing the initial Fit Dogs Class, you will be able to participate in our Open Gym drop ins. We are proud to announce we are an AKC Fit Dog Club!

Hoopers

We are excited to be able to offer Canine Hoopers, and we are one of the few training centers in the area certified to teach it! What is Hoopers? It's a lighter form of agility that is low impact to the handler and dog. It involves ground hoops (no jumping), barrel racing, and straight tunnels in fun and challenging patterns. Not only do we offer a basic class on learning Hoopers, but also drop in fun runs for skill building. Please note: This is a FUN SPORT, we are not offering it for competition. You can use skills you learn here for sports like agility, CPE Speedway, and more, but we do not do full courses due to size restraints. Graduation of Hoopers class gives you access to our drop-in Hoopers practices.

Treibball

Treibball, also known as Urban Herding, is a German sport mainly for herding dogs, but most dogs can enjoy the game. Created in around 2005, it is to encourage the herding instinct of dogs that might not otherwise have herding opportunities. It's like soccer, in that you, while standing in front of a goal, direct your dog to push or "herd" a ball to the goal. This is a great inexpensive game to play in your yard, and we teach you all the skills you need for it!

Obstacle Coursing

This class teaches a very simple concept to your dog to allow them to be independent and confident. They will explore, on their own, obstacle courses they have to navigate. We will discuss safety and how to level your dogs abilities up, and show you how to create these obstacle courses at home using a combination of training equipment and regular household items. This is truly a sensory experience for your dogs, helping them to overcome fears, gain confidence, and promote health and well being.

Rally

Take your manners and obedience to the next level and participate in rally! This is an obedience course where the dog and handler team work through a course guided by signs. This can be a great way to proof your learning, and you can even earn titles by showing! Graduation from our beginner's rally class gives you access to our drop-in style rally practices! You must have prior training, have a CGC, or have approval from our instructors to join this class.

Scentwork

Canine scentwork is a fun, engaging activity that taps into your dog’s most powerful natural ability—their sense of smell. In scentwork, dogs learn to search for specific odors, building confidence, focus, and problem-solving skills along the way. It’s suitable for dogs of all ages and breeds, offering both mental enrichment and physical activity without high impact. Whether for sport, enrichment, or strengthening the bond between you and your dog, scentwork provides a rewarding outlet that celebrates your dog’s instincts and turns sniffing into a purposeful, joy-filled job.
