Grooming at Mystic Paws Academy is a private, one-on-one experience. Your dog has the grooming room all to themselves for the whole appointment. No other dogs on the table, no dogs waiting their turn, no busy salon noise. Just your dog, your groomer, and an unhurried visit built around what your dog needs.

How it works (by application only)

1. Apply for the waitlist. Tell us a little about you and your dog. Every appointment is private, so openings are limited.

2. Complete your intake form. Our groomer reviews each application and sends you a detailed intake form about your dog's coat, grooming history, health, and comfort.

3. Talk with your groomer. If your dog is a good fit, she'll call you to talk through your dog, the services you're interested in, and the look you want. Then she'll give you a personal quote for your first groom.

4. Book your first groom. Pick your time and get ready for a calm, private visit.

Personalized pricing
Every dog is different. So is every quote. Your price is based on:

• Coat length

• Coat type

• Your dog's weight

• The services and add-ons you choose

Your groomer builds your quote on your call, so you know exactly what's included before you book.

Arriving for your appointment
For everyone's safety, dogs must be wearing appropriate gear per MPA policy when entering the building:

• A flat collar or harness that fits well

• A 4-6 ft leash, held by you from the car to the door

• No retractable leashes

• No prong, choke, or shock (e-) collars. We are a force-free facility.

Muzzle-trained dogs are accepted. If your dog wears a muzzle, bring it along and let us know on the intake form.

FAQ

• How much does grooming cost? Pricing is personalized. Your groomer quotes you after reviewing your intake form and talking with you about your dog's coat length, coat type, weight, and the services and add-ons you want.

• Why do I have to apply? One-on-one grooming means a limited number of openings. Applying lets our groomer make sure she can give every dog the time and care they deserve.

• What happens after I apply? Our groomer sends you an intake form. If your dog is a good fit, she'll call you to talk through everything and give you a quote.

• Will there be other dogs in the grooming room? Never. Your dog is the only dog being groomed in the room during their appointment.

• Do you groom dogs who wear a muzzle? Yes. Muzzle-trained dogs are accepted. Just note it on your intake form so your groomer can plan ahead.

• Do I have to be a training client? No. Grooming is open to new families and current training clients.
